Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy just launched their brand new Careers brochure to attract new talent, and Dezide is showcased on page 41.
As Ulrik Henriksen, Head of Diagnostics at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, states in the brochure:
“We have proven that our technicians could solve a problem up to 70% faster using Dezide’s causal AI-powered troubleshooting technology combined with our technical expert knowledge.”
That’s a bold statement, but it’s very real nonetheless.
Through tests, certain common errors were introduced into a turbine in the test facility. Two teams of technicians to resolve the problem. The first team consisted of junior techs using the Dezide troubleshooting software, and the other team consisted of only very skilled senior engineers with many years of experience. The senior engineers resolved the problem in more than one hour. The junior technicians fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes using the troubleshooting system. They expect that the troubleshooter will help them realize 70% for all highly complex issues and around 40% for the basic problems of average difficulty.
The troubleshooter uses the very same knowledge that those very experienced engineers have in their heads. Dezide facilitates that experts can capture their tacit knowledge, what we often refer to as “know-how,” in the dynamic troubleshooting guides. Dezides causal AI-powered troubleshooter uses cause, actions, questions, probabilities, and cost to calculate the most efficient troubleshooting path to solve any given unscheduled downtime scenario.
