Following the release of the Dezide Troubleshooter for Android, we are now releasing the Dezide Android API. For those of our customers who are already using custom-built Android apps for their technicians in the field, this is great news.
The Dezide Android API enables enterprises to add the Dezide troubleshooting capability to any Android app and provide a seamless troubleshooting experience in an environment familiar to the users. A unified UX experience where the troubleshooting capability is not perceived as a stand-alone option, but rather as an integrated experience straight from within familiar apps.
Most of our customers are seeing technicians turn to their mobile devices for troubleshooting. Native Android app enables field service technicians to troubleshoot machines in offline environments where there is no internet connection.
The API enables an app to automatically download new and updated content from the server when the app is online. It also uploads usage data and user-generated feedback with images and videos online. Of course, the API ensures that only the parts of the knowledge base that the user has permission to use are downloaded to the device.
Everything is handled by the API, so software developers only need to focus on building a great troubleshooting experience in the UI.
