The winter release of Dezide is ready with new features and improvements.

Support for files in Media Library
Many customers has asked for the ability to manage files in the Media Library in the new Administration so we have added this feature. This means that it is now possible to insert files of any type directly into the explanation area of guides and articles. Many of our customers are using files of all kinds that are relevant in troubleshooting scenarios so there is no restriction on the type of file – it’s more like an attachment.
New constraint: “Use all questions first”
In some cases it makes sense to ask all questions first – this could be when building diagnostic type of guides where it is necessary to collect a lot of information at the very beginning of the guide sequence, and building a guide like that has never been easier using this new setting.
Taxonomy as a tree
The old way of managing the taxonomy wasn’t very good when the taxonomy grew to considerable size, so we have given the Taxonomy editor an overhaul making it much easier to work with. The Taxonomy is now displayed as a direct-edit tree component providing a great overview and an easy way to build and maintain it.
It is now possible to specify the background probabilities for advanced symptom questions. This is used for giving the decision engine important information about the troubleshooting scenario, if none of the relevant causes in the guide are present in the current troubleshooting scenario. The system recommends a setting for this, but for advanced users who needs that final piece of control of the situation it is now possible to set those probabilities manually.
