2016 has been a great year for Dezide as we continue to see increased usage of our systems throughout the world. We are seeing millions of troubleshooting sessions every month world wide with the biggest installations being within consumer electronics – Dezide going out to 70.000.000 home and business computers around the globe! We are humbled by the sheer numbers and the results are impressive!
Within the heavy industry we see clients dispatching fewer technicians, fixing problems the first time more often and reducing training time for new personnel. We also hear from customers across industries that they are able to retain valuable organizational knowledge in Dezide when their best people leave the company or go to enjoy retirement and we hear this more than ever.
Big data and Internet of Things are hot in the tech industry and Dezide really excels when combined with these technologies. Our customers are seeing huge benefits in using the results of big data analysis and device state information when troubleshooting complex equipment. Machine state collection and dissemination have been abstracted away from the users by the application and it dramatically reduces the time needed for troubleshooting. A trend we have seen many of our customers pick up in 2016 and we see it continuing in the coming years.
We have been on-site with important clients to catch up and talk about the future of service, support and knowledge management. We continue to value our long lasting partnerships with our customers and it’s always a pleasure seeing our tools in action and learning how they bring value in more and more ways we didn’t even consider.
In 2016 we have been working hard on migrating customers from the old Dezide platform to the new and we are almost there – we are getting some incredible feedback from users on the new systems – keep it coming! It’s the best way to improve the system and make sure we are building the right features that brings the most value out there.
The new platform is really taking shape – it’s been quite an undertaking to replace an old set of tools that are highly integrated into daily workflows and procedures, but we believe that the work involved in transitioning to the new platform is time very well spent, and customers who has already been upgraded confirms this too.
Our expectations for 2017 are high as we will be launching new products and features that will make it even easier to capture and share knowledge.
